With Hugo Esteban Perez, Agder Iztacmitl (White Arrow), Eva Evers, Kesem Itzchaki and Kate “Sunny” Ziesenheim, PA-C
November 13 - 20, 2026
This annual Huautla de Jiménez excursion is a core experiential component of the Mazatec Apprenticeship Program. During this immersive week, participants will have the rare opportunity to spend dedicated time in the birthplace of the Mazatec tradition, engaging deeply with its ceremonial, cultural, and spiritual foundations.
Throughout our time together, we will sit in three sacred ceremonies, receive ongoing supervision and guidance from Hugo, and participate in practical workshops focused on egg limpias and setting up the ceremonial altar. This is an intensive and intimate learning environment designed to support both personal and apprentice-level integration.
